My Last Blog, My Last Everything

I plan to make a tribute to my Senior Seminar class. In this class I learned several things, the most important and obvious: Don't slack off! I also learn that life isn't going to be easy, because there are sadistic jerks in this world that make it a hell of a lot harder to live, just for the fun of it. In the early years those people are teachers. Later on, those sadistic jerks take on the form of bosses or industrial corporation owners. But in the end I realized that those sadistic jerks should be thanked for pushing us to reach our best abilities, so thank you Ms. Apostalou making us struggle for our more than earned diplomas. I think I speak for all my classmates when I say "Gee............. thanks". I know we thought The Charter school was unneccesary and overrated. But I believe that most of the senior class...uh... I mean 4% of the senior class can say they didn't regret attending this school. And with this I would like to thank the staff for being the coolest people from the security guards to the janitors, especially Sandy in the office. Also I'd like to thank the teachers, Mr. Maddox (math), Ms. Struthers (english), Mr. Sullivan (advisor and science), Mr. Patterson (latin and sense of humor and sarcasm), Mr. Kantner (who entertains me with money and has his funny moments), Mr. Jones (a great vocalist and awesome teacher, with whom I found my voice), Mr. Lynch (for being him), Ms. Bryne Lau (freshman english), Mr. Frey (for being our global drill sergeant), Mr. Mertens and Mr. Hirsch (for being super cool), Ms. Saqe ( for being a stand-up comedian, joking on Alan Campoverde and teaching us at the same time), and how could I forget the CEO, Mr. Eddie Calderon-Melendez, for if it wasn't for him this school and education would not be possible. So for this occasion I would like present everyone that I mentioned with these.

Night Of Chaos

Yesterday I had passed by the park, when my boy, asked me to come the park to play ball. So I came later on after eating at my place. I came back to a full court game that had already begun, and so they wanted me, to sub in for those that complied. Later, Georgie asks me to come in for him, so I came in and scored with a post move. Then the next time I got the ball I hit a jumper and another following that one, then Georgie had came back in to win the game. Then the next game I scored 6 points and we won the game, 21-17. Then after a couple people bounced I went and played manhunt with my friends. Climbing fences, jumping stairs and whatnot. This is what we did. It was mad fun. Then when running after each other tired everyone out. We bought eggs and went to a roof to test our aim and power. I was able to throw an egg at the middle highway on the Williamsburg Bridge. And my cousin, Matt, hit this guy riding a bike right on the head, that was the highlight of the day.

Fist Of Fury!!!!!!

If you've seen this video then you probably know why I would like to be like him. He clocks in at about 7 punches per second. I wouldn't mess with him. I wonder what kind of training you must undergo to be as skilled as he is with his hands. Gio Castillo, my friend, I hear is a good fighter, but this guy would kill George Santiago, a boxer who beat Gio in a bout. But he is not even throwing straight punches, because he is striking certain pressure points. If he was throwing stationary straight punches I believe his speed would be 10-12 punches. I was thinking about this video when I was play fighting with my cousins, it seems like everyone is slow compared to this guy. For all the critics, I'm sure if you fight someone like this, I could record it as the "World's Fastest Knockout".

The Loudest Sound You Ever Heard, DESERT BIRD!!!

My favorite handgun of all time is the Desert Eagle .50AE. AE stands for "Action Express". This is a large caliber pistol. To be exact, it is a .50 caliber round, the largest round there is for a pistol. This gun was never meant for military use. The gun was intended for animal hunting, such as elephants and lions. It is said to have the exact same recoil as a shotgun, which means it must sound similar to a shotgun. When this gun is fired it is strongly advised to grip the gun with two hands, or something like this can happen. If you have clicked the link, you are most likely thinking "Damn, that was too funny" or you're saying "Why is my computer so slow???". But My favorite feature with this gun is when it is fired at target such as a Watermelon or a beer can, they tend to explode, instantaneously, as if the trigger detonated an explosive device. As seen in this Video. As you can see in the video, it shows the slow motion that when fired, the Desert Eagle emits a ring of fire in front of the barrel as though it is breaking through the sound barrier or the space-time continuum, kind of like warp speed. My advice is that if someone puts this to your face and says "Run yo sh--!!!", DON'T by any means try to be tough guy or else the guy just might put a donut hole right through your head. Behold the Desert Eagle .50AE. AE stands for "Action Express" or as I like to say "Express way to the afterlife".

NBA BALLERS at 84 Park

On May 7, 2008, I went to 84 park to find Coach Bentley with the twins, Elon and Matthew. He was running some drills with them. So then he asked me to run it with them, so I did. We ran several 3-on-3. The rules were that when the defense got the ball, it had to be cleared at the half court line and 3 second violation was in play. We run like 4 of those games, and the worst massacre was Elon, Domonic and me against Matthew, Damien and Juan, where the score was 21-4. Then we saw familiar faces..... it was Forrest and Lt. Dan. We picked up some more people and ran a full court with NBA rules. We had my little cousin, Mitchell, 10, play as the point guard. He is a great pointguard for a 10 year old; he alone gave me 5 assists. and I scored like 11 in that game. After the game, we won of course, but by forfeit. The opposition couldn't handle the pressure, so they cried and just cracked, kind of like this .

Ares, "god of war" or "dog of war"

I have a new dog. His name is Ares, like the god of war. We got him on May 3, 2008 at the North Shore Animal League. He was the cutest dog in the shelter. We somehow got him into our arms and adopted him. We had a hard time naming him; we had names such as "Spartan", "Mumble", "Leonidas", "Achilles" and "Ares". But Ares it was and I never looked back. It was hard not to love him, because he is just full of innocence. He loves to sleep or chill in the closest in between the shoe racks for reasons unknown. He is rough, but only with me, he only bites and plays rough when I'm around. He is a Labrador Retriever. He is only 9 weeks. At a young age he already shows intelligence. After doing the math, we figured that his birthday is about March 3rd, 2008. He was a quiet dog, and at the end of the second day with us he finally barked. And he loves babies. I can't really explain it but when he met my baby girl cousin, who is a little over a month, we put them together, to aquaint each other. He did not want to leave her side, at any costs; he howled and whined loudly just to be near her, it was mad crazy. It was funny, cute, and frankly unexplainable.

Berry Park on South 3rd st.- Ball Chronicles

On May 4, 2008, Me and my cousins, Michael Mercado and Matthew Soto went to South 3rd to play ball. There we met up with my boys, Georgie, Qui-qui, and Jonathan. Then we started a game. With Qui-qui, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan and me on a team against Georgie, and these other kids. Simply put, we beat them easy. Everyone was scoring at will with no hesitation. We was using crazy teamwork with sick passes. In the end we were the victors. Then Georgie had wanted to run it again, but the result was no different than the last. We then sat down after the second game to talk about "Call of Duty 4" and "Grand Theft Auto IV". Then I received a call from my cousin, Max and received confirmation of his obtaining of "Grand Theft Auto IV". Therefore I went to his house immediately after the call, but left my basketball at the park..........

We must BALL.....the Time is Now!!!! Guest Appearance by The Cast of "Forrest Gump"

Yesterday I didn'y go to school because I was completing scholarship essays. Then I went to school at 3:20pm to hand them in so that I would be considered into getting a scholarship. Afterwards I went home and changed because my boy Asbel had asked me to come back to the park and play. Upon my arrival to the park he saw these two whites guys and two blacks guys playing ball. I was with my brother Ryane and my boys, Asbel, Julian and Domonic. My boys were already playing "Utah" when I got there so I joined in. As soon as I retrieved the rock, the domination begun. I started up with a smooth floater, then hit 5 freethrows in a row then missed the sixth one. I played defense until getting the ball soon after. I was at the 3-pointer on the right wing, then I dribbled to the freethrow and jumped as everything went into slow motion, kind of like ESPN instant replay. Asbel tried to block me so he put his hand in front of the ball to knock it down, but remember I'm still in the air when this is all happening so as I'm flying past his hand I shot the ball. Cash, Money, Wet, All Water, Swish!!!! Well whatever you want to call it.... bottom line is that it was good. Then my shooting spree was interupted by the men playing on the other court. They was like "How 'bout some 4-on-4, you wanna play?", of course I couldn't refuse the challenge. Not for nothing, but the team looked like the cast from "Forrest Gump". True Story. I played against Forrest and Asbel played against Lt. Dan and Domonic played against Bubba. Julian played my brother, who didn't look like any of the cast from the movie, but I admit he did look like one of the hippies. We waxed their asses (donkeys) and went home satisfied. Then Ryane and I went home.
